DIP Switch Settings:

  • When Switch 10 is DOWN, Switches 1 through 9 are used to set the device address in Binary
    • Example: If you want to set the device address for this DMX decoder to 37, you'd set the switches to the binary code 101001000 which corresponds to 1+4+32 for a total of 37 as follows:
      • Switch 1 (leftmost): UP
      • Switch 2: DOWN
      • Switch 3: UP
      • Switch 4: DOWN
      • Switch 5: DOWN
      • Switch 6: UP
      • Switch 7: DOWN
      • Switch 8: DOWN
      • Switch 9: DOWN
      • Switch 10: DOWN (this sets Standalone Function Mode to OFF)
  • When Switch 10 is UP, Switches 1 through 9 are used to set the standalone function mode to 1 of the 9 options below (only set one switch to the UP position at a time; if more than one is left UP, the greatest value will take priority)
    • Example: If you want to set the standalone function mode to 7 so your LED strip is white, you'd set switch 7 to UP and all other switches 1 to 9 to down:
      • Switch 1 (leftmost): DOWN
      • Switch 2: DOWN
      • Switch 3: DOWN
      • Switch 4: DOWN
      • Switch 5: DOWN
      • Switch 6: DOWN
      • Switch 7: UP
      • Switch 8: DOWN
      • Switch 9: DOWN
      • Switch 10: UP (this sets Standalone Function Mode to ON)
  • Standalone Function Modes:
    • Mode 1: Red
    • Mode 2: Green
    • Mode 3: Blue
    • Mode 4: Yellow
    • Mode 5: Purple
    • Mode 6: Cyan
    • Mode 7: White
    • Mode 8: Seven Color Jump Change (for this mode, you can set speed by turning on one of switches 1 through 7 with 7 being the fastest)
    • Mode 9: Seven Color Fade Change (for this mode, you can set speed by turning on one of switches 1 through 7 with 7 being the fastest)
