5V Voltage Regulator - L7805CV

Voltage regulators are useful for robotics projects where you have a battery that drains and loses voltage over time. Using a voltage regulator can ensure that you have a steady voltage for your standard 5V CMOS TTL circuits and chips while using a battery that's draining. This L7805CV will give you a 5V signal when hooked up with any battery between 7.5V and 35V! Employs internal current limiting, thermal shut-down and safe area protection, making it essentially indestructible!
