If you're trying to figure out whether you should use this microPC or the Arduino UNO, we recommend you select the Raspberry Pi if you feel the need to have a full PC with an Operating System, if all you're looking for is a simple robotics project, the Arduino UNO will be simpler for beginners. In summary, the Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+ is an upgraded version of the Raspberry Pi 1 Model B with the same chipset and RAM but the Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+ has more I/O pins, 4 USB ports as opposed to 2 and microSD card storage as opposed to standard sized SD Card storage. The newest version of the Raspberry Pi is currently the Raspberry Pi 4: Model B.

Please note, if you want to use RCA output as opposed to HDMI to hook up to your TV or monitor, the Raspberry Pi B+ does not support RCA. Use an HDMI to VGA adapter if possible or purchase the Raspberry Pi Model B if you must have RCA.
