This DC Motor Speed Controller is the perfect solution for adding a simple low voltage motor with adjustable speed to your projects. It emits a PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) signal that varies between 0% and 100% when the knob is turned. A PWM signal is a signal comprised of pulses that fluctuate between on and off. When the knob is turned halfway down, the signal is on 50% of the time and off 50% of the time, which makes your motor run at half the max speed. When the knob is turned up, the amount of time the signal is on increases, thus speeding up your motor until the knob is turned all the way up and the signal is on 100% of the time. Popular for art installations, automation projects and anywhere else you may simply want to add something that spins with ease.
