Use this USB Host Shield to plug USB devices straight into your Arduino! Control any USB slave device from your Arduino. Just place this fully assembled shield on top of your Arduino UNO or Mega for easy integration with USB devices such as thumbdrives, digital cameras, wifi dongles, bluetooth dongles, etc!

Note: If you are using the USB Host Shield with 74HC125 chip instead of 74AHC125D chip and try to connect a PS4 controller you will see the message "OSC did not start". If this happens, you need the 74AHC125D version of the USB Host Shield which is available above.

are the 3.3v power select, 5v power select, 5v VBUS power select properly pre soldered? or do i have to solder them myself? ty
You can add a message to request 3.3V or 5V pre-soldered when placing the order and they\'ll solder it for you.

Can you confirm this is using the correct chips for xbox controller functionality. The board must have an ADK vs DK only chip.
Yes, it works with Xbox controllers. It uses the MAX3421E chipset.

Will this work with the PS3 navigation controllers? I can\'t seem to get the bluetooth dongle to respond or function at all.
Yes. You need the 74AHC125D version for using it with PS3 controllers.
