  • Chainable: connect the serial output of one chip into the serial input of the next for more outputs!
  • Serial Communication Method: SPI

  • Similarl to the 7HC595 8 Bit Shift Register but for high powered devices. up to 150mA per output
  • Can be used with LED matrices and segmented LEDs. Just connect to LED cathodes
