TPIC6B595 High Power 8 Bit Shift Register. Useful for adding 8 high-power outputs to a microcontroller. Serial Communication via SPI uses only 1 microcontroller pin to control all 8 high-powered devices.

  • Useful for adding high-power outputs to a microcontroller project
  • Chainable: connect the serial output of one chip into the serial input of the next for more outputs!
  • Serial Communication Method: SPI
  • Control up to 8 high powered devices from one data pin on your Arduino or other microcontroller.
  • Similarl to the 7HC595 8 Bit Shift Register but for high powered devices. up to 150mA per output
  • Can be used with LED matrices and segmented LEDs. Just connect to LED cathodes
